Lindsay Carrington is a Licensed Professional Counselor with ten years of clinical experience working in the field of mental health and substance abuse disorders. Currently she works as a Clinical Supervisor in a community based setting with individuals who have a broad spectrum of significant mental health and addiction problems. Throughout her career she has worked in diverse settings including: residential, outpatient, and with mobile crisis with children, adolescents, and their families on various problem areas. She has extensive experience working with individuals who have suffered traumatic experiences including abuse, neglect, and relational difficulties. She specializes in working with substance abuse disorders; Personality Disorders; trauma; grief; Anxiety, Depressive and Mood Disorders. She provides individual, couples, and family counseling services. She incorporates various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based and Person Centered Therapies.

Lindsay holds a Master in Science Degree in Community Counseling from the University of Bridgeport and holds her License as a Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. She is committed to promoting a trusting and collaborative atmosphere. She assists in managing ways to overcome various areas in which one seeks to enhance and strengthen upon, meanwhile increasing a positive overall life change.
