Regan Moriarty is a licensed clinical social worker that has been working in the clinical setting, post-masters since 2007. Regan graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University, concentrating in Children & Families. She has experience working in the school setting, outpatient and in crisis assessment and intervention. She currently works as a supervisor at behavioral health setting serving adults and adolescents with co-occurring disorders. Regan specializes with the adult and young adult population with addiction and/or mental health concerns. This includes substance abuse and dependence, Anxiety disorders, Mood disorders and self injurious behaviors. Regan utilizes Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Strength’s Based Model in her practice. She incorporates expressive therapies, such as Art Therapy and a holistic approach. Regan works with individuals, families and in group treatment. She believes therapy should be a collaboration between the therapist and client and works to promote an open and trusting relationship that facilitates change and growth.
